Can Animals Catch The Flu?
A delightful story about a young boy who is left to take care of the farm animals as there are many. they all begin to get the flu one after the next and the boy is frantically trying to take care of them, "I knew just what my mom would do, if it were I who had the flu." The animals start taking over the place; the beds, the couch, the TV. They are comforted in everyway possible this boy can manage, until the boy get's sick and in turn the animals take care of him. I love books that tell a great pictured main story, but when there are also a lot of little funny things going on beside, it makes it more elaborate and enhances the fun extensively. The child can laugh at the way the characters' personalities come through and enhance the story much more. The double-play, so to speak, helps one linger and really stay on the page seeking to find more hidden treasures of laughter.
